Tre John (Coach John) holds a BFA in Theatre from Texas State University with an emphasis in acting. Earned a master's degree in 2005 in Education Administration. He has been in education for 25 years as a high school  theatre teacher, middle school theatre teacher, Principal, and athletics coach. 

Coach John is currently a theatre teacher at Keller High School (2022 - Present.) During his tenure at Keller High, he directed Moby Dick Rehearsed in 2022, assisted on the 2023 KHS UIL One Act Play: Peter and the Starcatcher, Light and Special Effects  Designer–Shrek, The Musical (2022), Light and Special Effects Designer–The Addam’s Family (2023)

Before Keller High, Coach John served as the Technical Director for Central High School (2016-2020), Technical Director Northwest High School (2020-2022), Hillwood Middle School (2006-2016), Carroll Middle School (2000-2006), Sealy High School (1999-2000.)

During his career, everywhere Coach John has gone, success has followed. Since returning to high school theatre in 2016. Some of his successes include:

Coach John has also been involved in several local theatre productions as an actor, director, and playwright.
